Good morning anglers, Well May was a slow month with both anglers and fish. Of the 18 off shore fishing dayswe had in May we released 26 sailfish and 14 marlin. Bob Armstrong and friends fished two days off shore and released 3 sailfish and two marlin. That's Bob at the left with his marlin. Bill James and family from Syracuse also released two marlin two sail fish and boated six dorado and three tuna fish for two days off shore. The inshore fishing was little better, all our charters caught roosters and a lot of small dorado , some boats were boating 12-15 dorado. Plenty of skip jacks and needlefish. The boats also boated 12 large wahoo, one went to 42 lbs. We expect a little more action in June so I hope my next report will show a big improvement in the bill fishing. Thank you. Fred |
