OK anglers, It looks like we are goining to have a good bite this year. We had a few windy days in the past two weeks and most of the boats were not able to go off shore, but when the seas were good the boats that did go off shore saw some good action. The run was a little farther due to the dirty water but once the boats were in clean water the fish were there. The Myers family from Philadelphia fished two days off shore releasing two black marlin, two blue marlin and four sail fish. They also boated three dorado and six tuna fish. Paul Richerdson and friend from NYC released three black marlin and boated two dorado.
The Reese brothers from Miami fishing off shore released one blue marlin and two sail fish and boated seven tuna fish. We did very little in shore fishing due to the dirty water but we did catch a lot of large corvina 10 to 15 lbs. The corvina here is what we call weak fish in New Jersey and in Florida they call them trout. Very good eating and you catch them in dirty water. We have three boats that went inshore fishing this morning, if they do well I will give you a report tomorrow. Thank you. Fred
