Good morning anglers, sorry about not posting a fishing report the last two months but I will try to bring the repors up to date. January was a slow month with a few off shore charters, all charters released at least one sail and some released three sails. Very few marlin also, of the 12 off shore charters we only released 7 marlin. In the past a normal January day each boat would raise 4 or 5 marlin and release at least 2. Most of the January fishing was inshore which was productive lots of mackrel, skip jacks, baracuda, and some wahoo and tuna.In the first days this month the Rosseti group from Newark fished off shore and released one sail and one 300 plus black marlin and boated 2 large dorado. Yesterday the Tim Jones group from Swisher, Iowa released a blue marlin. That's the Tim Jones group in the picture with their marlin I hope my next report will be better. Thank you. Fred |
