 OK fishermen April was a little show, not too many anglers but fishing was pretty good. The Travis group from Salt Lake fished three days and released 12 sailfish and 5 marlin and boated six tuna 25 to 30 lbs. Bob Arlington from TX fished 4 days with friends and released 5 sailfish for 15 on the fly and also broke off 3 marlin on the fly, they had a lot of hook ups with tuna but lost them all. The Allen group from Phila., PA with six anglers fished the Bad Dog and Crazy Dog for two days raised 26 sail fish and released 8 also released 3 marlin for 6. All our boats released bill fish in April. That's Bob in the picture with one of his sails caught on the fly. Inshore fishingis still good with roosters and wahoo and a lot of small yellow fin tuna showed up and most boats boated at least 10-12. So long for now. Fred |
